Brody Jenner is throwing shade at his father while speaking about the way he plans to parent his newborn daughter: “I think that what I’m most excited about is doing things differently than my father did,” he said in a YouTube video, noting that Caitlyn Jenner “wasn’t really around for me growing up.”
Brody and the Olympian “didn’t have the greatest relationship,” he said, adding that he plans to do “the exact opposite” of what Caitlyn did when he was young. He went on to say that he aims to be “the absolute best father I could possibly be” and noted that he’s “getting ready for the journey” and is “just so very excited.”
Brody and his fiancée Tia Blanco welcomed their baby girl, Honey, on July 29.
