Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, who tied the knot in an elaborate Palm Beach ceremony last April, have resolved their legal dispute with their wedding planners.

The conflict began when Nicola’s father, Nelson Peltz, took legal action against the Miami-based event-planning firm, Plan Design Events, in an attempt to recover the $159,000 (£132,000) deposit.
A statement obtained by People Magazine today confirms that the dispute has come to an end, and both parties have reached a settlement.
“The parties believe that this contract dispute between Nelson Peltz and Plan Design should be resolved on the terms agreed,” the statement read.
As part of the settlement, Plan Design Events (PDE) will make a donation to the CARE Ukraine Crisis Fund in the name of Nicola and Brooklyn. The statement concludes with well wishes for the couple’s happiness and fruitful life together.

The couple initially had their hearts set on wedding planner Preston Bailey, known for organizing high-profile celebrity events. However, Bailey stepped down from the role just six weeks before the wedding. Subsequently, Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, the founders of Plan Design Events, joined the team but parted ways after only a week.

The legal battle ensued when Nelson Peltz, a billionaire, filed a lawsuit accusing the planners of failing to return Brooklyn’s deposit. Nelson claimed that during nine days of negotiations, the planners did not secure any new vendors, finalize agreements, or attend scheduled meetings. Given the high-profile nature of the wedding, which included over 500 guests, including celebrities, athletes, dignitaries, and influential individuals, Nelson argued that the planners needed expertise and staffing to meet the event’s caliber and complexity.
Screenshots of text messages between Nicola and the planners were also shared, revealing her frustration with mistakes made during the planning process.
In response, the planners filed a countersuit, seeking damages for breach of contract and referring to Nelson as a “billionaire bully.” They claimed the Peltz family had made their wedding planning experience difficult.
Despite the legal battles, the wedding proceeded beautifully, with A-list guests from both sides of the Atlantic celebrating at the Peltz’s sprawling estate.
